Modifications by Lapiro
-----------------------
Modified by Lapiro, 2026. Changes from the upstream v2 release:
  - Added four new footstep sound categories to the `sounds` dictionary:
      * sneak     (20 samples)
      * Socks     (18 samples)
      * heels5    (24 samples)
      * barefoot  (11 samples)
  - Added matching audio sample files for each new category under
    Custom/Sounds/FootstepsSFX/{sneak,Socks,heels5,barefoot}/.
  - Renamed the audio asset folder from "Aeternum/footsteps/" to
    "FootstepsSFX/" so this fork's audio doesn't collide with the
    upstream SPQR.Footsteps .var if both are installed at once.
  - Repackaged under the namespace Lapiro.FootstepsExtended.
  - Source code reorganised into partial-class files
    (Footsteps.Core.cs, .UI.cs, .Audio.cs, .Triggers.cs) — no behaviour change.
